Developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries, CPM SPY27 is a cobalt-enriched powder metallurgy steel that offers an excellent balance of toughness, corrosion resistance, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. Available only on Spyderco knives, this steel is the heart of the latest expression of the Manix 2 XL. One of our largest and most formidable folders, its broad, full-flat-ground blade takes full advantage of the attributes of SPY27.
