Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Outlandory, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Outlandory", "we", "us"). By using outlandory.com or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Outlandory is a marketplace

Outlandory lists products and offers from independent shops. The shop is the seller and the merchant of record for every purchase. Outlandory does not own, hold, inspect, ship or handle any item, and never takes possession of a firearm.

Each shop sets its own prices, stock, shipping, returns and warranties, shown on its offers and shop page.
Product details come from manufacturers, distributors and shops. We work to keep them accurate but do not guarantee them. The shop's listing and the item it ships govern.
Prices, stock and deals change. Price history, deal labels and shipping restriction notes are guides, not promises.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Age limits for specific products are set by law and enforced at checkout or at transfer.
Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
One account per person. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

Buying through Outlandory checkout

When you check out on Outlandory, your order is placed with the shop and charged by the shop's own payment processor. Card details go directly to that processor; Outlandory never sees or stores your full card number.

An order is accepted when the shop confirms it. A shop may cancel an order, for example for stock, pricing errors or compliance reasons, and refunds any charge.
Totals include the item price, shipping and any tax shown at checkout.
Shipping times are the shop's estimate.

Buying on a shop's own site

Offers marked Buy on shop's site send you to the shop's website. That purchase is entirely between you and the shop, under the shop's terms. Outlandory is not a party to it.

Auctions

A bid is a binding offer to buy at that price if you win. Bid only if you intend to pay.
Your maximum bid is private. The system bids for you up to it, by the posted increment.
Late bids can extend the end time. Reserve prices, if any, must be met for a sale.
When an auction ends, the winner is notified and must complete payment as the listing describes. Non-payment can lead to account suspension.
The shop running the auction is the seller and may cancel it if an item is damaged, lost or cannot legally be sold.

Firearms and restricted items

Firearms ship only to a federally licensed dealer (FFL) you choose. You complete ATF Form 4473 and the background check at that dealer, who may charge a transfer fee. You are responsible for knowing and following the federal, state and local laws that apply to you. See our Firearms and FFL Transfers policy and Prohibited Items list.

Returns, problems and disputes

Returns follow the shop's return policy, shown on its offers and shop page. Contact the shop first through your order. If a shop does not respond or a problem is not resolved, email support@outlandory.com with your order number and we will help you reach a resolution. We can suspend shops that do not honor their policies, but we cannot issue refunds for a shop's sale.

Reviews and content you post

Reviews and other content you post must be honest, based on your own experience and lawful. Do not post personal information, spam, threats or links to sell items elsewhere. You keep ownership of your content and give Outlandory a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the site and in marketing. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Points, referrals and price alerts

Points and referral rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be changed or ended at any time. We may cancel rewards earned through fraud or abuse. Price alerts are a convenience and may be delayed or missed.

The Outlandory Guide

The AI shopping assistant gives general product information to help you shop. It can be wrong. It is not legal, safety or professional advice. Confirm legal questions with your dealer or a qualified attorney.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site in bulk, interfere with how it runs, try to get around security or rate limits, impersonate anyone, or use Outlandory to break the law, including straw purchases or sales to prohibited persons.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, Outlandory disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for the acts or products of shops, dealers or carriers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees Outlandory received in connection with the transaction at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to indemnify Outlandory against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms or the law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, email support@outlandory.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced on the site or by email. Continuing to use Outlandory after a change means you accept it.
